Prologue

In the middle of a clearing stood a petite one-story house; its roof made of many vibrant tiles shaded bright red, glistening with the sunlight. Its body was fashioned from thick yellow-tinged planks of pine, no doubt from the forest surrounding it, laid diagonally across the front face of the building; an architect's nightmare to be sure. Paper Mario 14: IntroSit back, and listen to another tale. One of adventure, love and paper.

Now, a long time ago, the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom had come
across something only known as the Light Ztar. Obviously some sort of
counterattack to the Dark Star, the Mushroom folks quickly hid this light
orb of darkness in the most secret of places, so secret not even the
Royal King and Queen knew of it's whereabouts. The Light Ztar was
locked away, buried, dug up then buried again, and dug up again, then
buried one last time deep down in the ground with magic. Deeper than

You know, I always looked around for this, but my results usually consisted of a badly recolored sprite of Bowser for PM1., or a texture swap from Brawl, so I took it upon myself to draw a Dry Paper Bowser. I think it came out pretty good, huh? And you have to admit, he looks at least 5 times more badass. Also I didn't draw him with a ponytail, because it contrasted against Bowser's short, chunky body.
